I recently walked through one of the hardest seasons of my life—navigating intense stress from a very demanding job that drained me and eventually landing in the ER needing emergency gallbladder surgery. It was overwhelming. It was scary. And honestly, it knocked me off my feet—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
But do you know what hit me the hardest?
Realizing that while I was busy pushing through the pain, ignoring the signs my body was sending, and telling myself I had to "just keep going"... I was running on empty.
And my kids felt it.
They didn’t need a “supermom.” They just needed me—present, healthy, and whole.
That’s why I’m sharing this today: to remind you that your wellness matters. Your energy, your peace, your strength—they all matter. Not just for you, but for the little ones who are watching and depending on you.
Taking care of yourself is not selfish—it’s essential.
Even when life gets chaotic.
Even when the to-do list is a mile long.
Even when you feel like you’re barely holding it together.

Because when you are well, your kids get the best version of you. And that is the greatest gift you can give them.
So here’s your reminder, mama:
